.."should be divided by a factor of two!", suggests a fantastic resource, found by Andrius.
We sat on Sunday and discussed about the packing list. Which items should we take and what is better left at home? Probably only god knows, since we have no clue where will we end up and what will be needed there.
But one thing was clear during the discussions - we have two different opinions
- Pack light, have 35-45 litre backpacks and fill them up with useful things
- Pack light, but take our usual 90 litre backpacks. Will not fill them, but if needed, there will be plenty of space for purchases on the road.
Now guess, which is girls' opinion and which is boys' :)
(Followup of the final decision coming shortly)

Mhm, I've changed my mind.
Yes, I've changed my mind. It will be a small bag ;-)
After the recent trip to Ireland I found out the beauty of travelling light.
... and finally it is not
... and finally it is not the smallest bag you can imagine. It is 55 l backpack for about EUR 75. Inexpensive, ha?

On topic
Wouldn't say your comment was completely off-topic, since it concerns the site. Anyway - the posts are sorted by date, just few of them are "sticky" (on top of all other topics) so it is much easier for the first-time visitor to understand what is going on.
Naturally, it is not so convenient for returning visitors, since they only want to see news and not some old posts.
So, I really appreciate your suggestion, and will implement changes as soon as we have more returning visitors than new visitors :)

hmmmm
As long as you make the people carry everything they buy, then let the girls bring their 90 liter bags!
Wait, was that the right conclusion ;)
Hehehehe :)
You made me giggle for a few minutes.
Yeps, that was the girls' idea to carry the 90 liter backpacks :)
The presents, the goodies, the markets, you know..
