Site design change - refreshing for your eyes or pain to get used to?

As you can most obviously see, cringel.com has changed it's look.

Part 1 of the changes

Now we have a logo, yay!

We selected it from 10 contestants, according to your votes. And, what a coincidence, our opinion was the same as yours. No, seriously!

Please meet it. The nickname is "Mad professor":

Cringel logo, new and fresh

I'd naturally love to write about what it represents and symbolizes etc. etc., but I won't. Judge for yourself, since I don't feel enforcing our opinion is any fun.

Part 2 of the changes

We have a braaaaand new site design!

'Coz the old one:

  • Did not allow us to put up our newly electedlogo.
  • Was quite messy and clumsy during content posting.
  • Just became boring. Maybe not for you, as you do not look at it too often, but definitely for us, as we stare at it more than once per day and for quite a long time.
  • Also, it's spring - time for change!

Please welcome the new design, it's name is Amadou:

  • Looks nice and sleek.
  • Has cool grey borders around photos.
  • Displays pictures of registered users in the comments and formats the comments much tidier.
  • Explore the site to find out more.
