Asian "eating on the street" culture is alive and well in Singapore, which can save budget travellers from paying a lot of money for the food.
You can get food in any price range, starting from S$3 curry chicken,
Street stall selling great curry chicken for 3 dollars, Singapore
continuing with Singapore chili crab for S$40,
Famous chilli crab of Singapore
and ending with, well, I don't know what. In any case, it is normal food, not comparable with the haute cuisine which you sometimes get in France:
French version of chilli crab, Singapore
It is food in normal sizes, and everything tastes equally good.

First of all, i LOVE the philosophy of your site.
The subtitle says it all: 'left our jobs, went to Asia'.
I envy a little bit that travel spirit of yours.
I'm a bit of a traveler myself and never been to Asia.
Everytime i watch an Anthony Bourdain episode in Asia i get all excited an anxious thinking when will i ever visit those lands.
The first picture of this post is my favorite and i think it transmits very well the 'look and feel' of a typical 'eat on the street' spot in Singapore.
Thanks very much for sharing and i'll visit the rest of the site.
