Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown is a rather good place to stay. 24 hour shops, 24 hour internet cafes, economic accommodation.

The symbol of the Chinatown - Petaling street - is famous for fake DVDs, fake Rolex watches of all qualities (priced up to a whopping 200 USD), and similar.

Though, if you want those fakes really cheap, gossip has it that if you go to Philippines and buy 500 of those watches for 1000 USD, could sell them in States for 300 USD each.
