Lao guide zipping through the jungle on the steel cable, near Huay Xai, Laos
I live in the village, close to the jungle. I spend a lot of time each day zipping around on the cables. I have to bring food to those clumsy white "farang" (foreigners) and I have to show them around.
I lead a simple life, but I love my job. Instead of walking around all the time I can be fast and agile as wind. I also take care of the forest and its inhabitants. I meet a lot of people and I manage to be good and smiling to everyone.
Yes, I go to thetown sometimes, but I can't wait to come back.

On the cable, high in the sky. Near Huay Xai, Laos
So far, this is the highlight of the whole trip.
